With a remarkable career spanning over three decades in the field of care provision, Jeanette’s journey embodies the very essence of HomeCare Abona.

Her early career began in residential homes under the umbrella of Social Services, where she diligently honed her skills and knowledge. During this time, Jeanette actively pursued continuous education, attending numerous training courses to enhance her expertise.

What truly sets Jeanette apart is her unwavering commitment to the well-being of her local community. Even before the introduction of the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990, she recognized the vital need for at-home care services and was already changing lives within her community.

In April 1993, Jeanette took her passion for caregiving a step further by establishing HomeCare (Mellor) Ltd. in Lancashire, England. The company boasts recognized contracts with Lancashire County Council, Blackburn with Darwen Social Services, and Local NHS trusts in the United Kingdom, a testament to Jeanette’s dedication and the quality of care she and her team provide.
